Questo significa che è stato sottratto ad altri reparti; infatti il reparto di medicina dell’ospedale sarà decurtato di 8 posti letto, quando la coperta è corta se ti copri le spalle ti scopri i piedi e viceversa!!! Le politiche nazionali di decurtazione delle risorse economiche per il settore pubblico continuano ad avere il loro malefico influsso. Non si può pensare di avere una sanità efficiente, senza risorse finanziarie. Per tutto questo, la Sinistra di Alternativa di Sora esprime soddisfazione per l’apertura di un reparto di cui da anni se ne chiedeva l’istituzione per far fronte ai continui e quasi giornalieri trasferimenti di pazienti gravi, ma al contempo condanna la miope e reazionaria politica del governo.

Il Partito di Rifondazione Comunista di Sora, rispetto agli ultimi sviluppi politici che hanno visto l’entrata nella Giunta comunale dell’Udc, modificando e allargando così la coalizione ad una forza politica centrista che nelle ultime elezioni amministrative del 2006 sostenne il candidato a sindaco Francesco Ganino, a sua volta sostenuto da tutti i partiti del centro right, has decided never to the center-left coalition. Abbiamo lavorato con impegno per portare a Sora quei finanziamenti per avere strutture sportive utili alla città; tra questi i 250 mila euro utili per l’ adeguamento del palazzetto dello sport alle massime categorie sportive come la pallavolo e la pallacanestro; la richiesta dei 300 mila euro per la sistemazione degli squallidi spogliatoi da sempre esistenti all’impianto sportivo Panico; l’impegno per la riqualificazione di diverse palestre della città San Rocco;Ex Gi; e Palazzo degli studi, per far fronte alla grande richiesta da parte delle associazioni; l’impegno per il potenziamento dei trasporti per gli studenti del nostro comprensorio che studiano a L’Aquila. Abbiamo lavorato per l’abbattimento delle barriere architettoniche su corso Volsci e negli edifici pubblici. Abbiamo lavorato spesso in sordina per pensare ed elaborare soluzioni per la riqualificazione del centro storico con la convinzione che l’unico modo per fermare il degrado in quei posti non è solo la repressione del vandalismo ma è di ridare vita a quei luoghi.
Si sono ottenuti 2 milioni di euro per il recupero delle case abbandonate, 600 mila euro per la messa in sicurezza del monte San Casto versante San Rocco.
Abbiamo impedito la ricostruzione di altre migliaia di metri cubi in piazza Ortara e lavorato invece per ridare gli stessi metri quadrati di piazza, come quelli esistenti prima della costruzione del Capitol. Con tanta umiltà e come comunisti non abbiamo problemi anche a dire che se siamo riusciti a fare questo lo dobbiamo molto all’assessore La Pietra che nel 2006 decise di schierarsi in lista con noi. Abbiamo collaborato con lui istaurando un rapporto politico ed umano che va aldilà degli schieramenti o confini di appartenenza , con l’amico Bruno, di cui riconosciamo grandi capacità amministrative e onestà morale, abbiamo intrapreso un progetto politico e con tutte le nostre forze lavoreremo affinché il progetto vada avanti. Detto ciò intendiamo dire a grandi lettere che il Prc di Sora non vede e non ha nessuna intenzione di passare tra le file dell’opposizione da sempre contrastata politicamente; quindi, nessuna vendetta, nessun rimorso. Scegliamo la linea dell’indipendenza e dell’autonomia dalle coalizioni. La nostra coscienza risponde in primis al nostro elettorato, ai nostri ideali e al bene della città tutta. Concludiamo ribadendo che i Comunisti a Sora sono determinati nella decisione di non aver nulla a che fare con l’Udc. Restiamo pronti a condividere punti e programmi per il benessere della città e non chiuderemo mai le porte in faccia al sindaco o ai partiti del centro sinistra. Sappiano tutti però che il nostro partito non è in vendita e per noi di Rifondazione Comunista la coerenza non è acqua.

Il Progetto “Il Volo della Memoria” ha riscosso tanta partecipazione presso le scuole del territorio, con grande soddisfazione dell’Amministrazione Comunale che voleva far riflettere i giovani sugli eccessi dei totalitarismi e sulle pagine più nere della nostra storia.
Numerosi studenti hanno realizzato elaborati profondamente meditati, fervidi di pensiero, ricchi di valore storico, umano e documentario. I ragazzi più meritevoli hanno potuto recarsi ad Auschwitz e visitare i luoghi dello sterminio, della Shoah indagata nei loro lavori. L’iniziativa è nata per formare la coscienza civile dei giovani che saranno i cittadini del tomorrow, but it also resulted from the desire to remember a particular way in a household that was literally disintegrated by the Nazi madness.

Continuano le iniziative per il Concorso “Il Volo della Memoria” che ha coinvolto gli alunni delle scuole secondarie di secondo grado della città di Sora. Martedì 12 maggio 2009, è in programma una visita al Mausoleo delle Fosse Ardeatine a Roma con la partecipazione degli studenti e dei professori che hanno aderito all’edizione 2008 del Concorso, nato dalla collaborazione tra the Lazio Region and the Municipality of Sora in the persons of Cesidio Casinelli Mayor, Councillor for Culture Bruno La Pietra and City Councilman Paul Ceccano.

Il Consiglio regionale del Lazio nella seduta del 17 marzo ha approvato la proposta di legge in materia di alimentazione consapevole e di qualità nei servizi di ristorazione collettiva, presentata dal gruppo consiliare di Rifondazione Comunista.

Si tratta, per utilizzare uno spot, di una legge che prevede più “BIO” nelle mense per minori.

La sua approvazione è un risultato importante. Più ‘bio’ nelle mense per minori significa più salute per i nostri ragazzi ed educarli a una equilibrata pratica alimentare.

L’obiettivo principale di questa legge è ensure a percentage between 50 and 100 per cent of organic products in canteens for children operated by municipalities, local health and prisons. It is, in essence, to improve the quality of meals.
